Western Kentucky redshirt freshman Kendall Noble will miss Saturday’s Hilltopper Hysteria event with a stress reaction in her leg, the program announced today.
Noble, a 5-foot-11-inch guard from Hazard, is expected to return “near the start of the regular season,” according to WKU. The Lady Toppers open Nov. 9 at home against Austin Peay.
Noble missed the beginning of last season with a stress reaction in her quadricep. She was diagnosed before the team’s exhibition game in early November and returned to action Dec. 6.
She appeared in two games and averaged 4.5 points and five rebounds before tearing the anterior cruciate ligament in her right knee at Kent State. She tore her left ACL as a junior at Perry County Central High School.
Noble missed the rest of the WKU’s 2012-13 season and was granted a medical redshirt.
