As most of you already know, the Western Kentucky women won their first Sun Belt title since 2008 on Saturday, beating Arkansas State 61-60 with a furious rally. If you didn’t know, here’s Chad Bishop’s game story from New Orleans.

ESPN updated its women’s bracketology at 12:55 a.m. CDT Sunday, with WKU as a No. 15 seed facing second-seeded Baylor in Waco, Texas. Now, Arkansas State had been occupying that exact spot in the bracketology for the entire year, so it’s difficult to say whether that’s an actual projection or ESPN just plugging WKU into that hole and calling it a night.

As of the latest projections, ESPN has the host sites for games featuring No. 15 seeds as Waco; Toledo, Ohio; Durham, N.C.; and Ames, Iowa. The No. 2 seeds right now are Baylor, South Carolina, Duke and Louisville.

The current projected No. 3 seeds, which WKU would face if it earned a 14 seed, are Kentucky, Texas A&M, Nebraska and West Virginia. If WKU drew Kentucky, it would face the Wildcats in Lexington.

The Lady Tops have never been lower than a No. 13 seed in the tournament.

They’ll learn their fate at 6 p.m. Monday when the bracket is revealed during the NCAA Selection Show on ESPN. WKU will be hosting a watch party at Mister B’s Pizza & Wings, and fans are encouraged to arrive at 5 p.m.

Tickets for the NCAA tournament will be available through WKU beginning Monday night. The school is the only outlet to receive tickets in the WKU cheering sections.

Ticket prices are determined by the host school. Fans can purchase tickets online Monday evening at wkusports.com or on Tuesday morning beginning at 8:00 a.m. when the ticket office opens at 1-800-5-BIG-RED or in person at the E.A. Diddle Arena Box Score.

First priority on ticket allocation will be based on Hilltopper Athletic Foundation Priority Rank.
